Among the individuals named in the allegations provided to Batko News are Ilhom Davrushovych Shahbazov, Sheikh Ahmed Tamim and Alaa Ravas. Questions have been raised regarding their alleged business relationships and activities connected with M’YSTSE HALAL. Sources making these allegations claim that pressure has allegedly been placed on businesses concerning where halal meat should be purchased. Batko News has not independently established that such pressure occurred and is seeking testimony, documents and responses from the parties concerned. Further allegations concern Sheikh Ahmed Tamim. Claims submitted to Batko News raise questions about possible connections with individuals or structures in Russia, including an alleged relationship involving the circle of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Separate claims allege links to Lebanese intelligence structures. Batko News has not independently verified these allegations. No allegation of intelligence activity, cooperation with Russia or connection to Ramzan Kadyrov should be regarded as established fact without documentary evidence or findings by competent authorities. Questions have also been raised concerning Walid Tamim, including claims regarding Russian citizenship or possession of a Russian passport and his continued presence in Ukraine. Batko News believes that any question concerning citizenship, residency status or national security should ultimately be addressed through official records and the relevant Ukrainian authorities. Information submitted to the newsroom also raises questions concerning the past meat-trading activities attributed to Ilhom Shahbazov, including operations allegedly connected with Sumy. Sources further claim that some members of his family continue to reside in Russia. The allegations also concern the relationship between commercial activity and religious authority. Questions have been raised about how halal-meat businesses are supervised, whether potential conflicts of interest exist, and whether organizations operating under religious authority are subject to sufficient financial transparency. Another issue concerns a proposed educational institution. According to information supplied to Batko News, funds were allegedly collected for a university or educational project. A plot of land is also alleged to have been provided by Azerbaijani businessman Oktay Ziya oglu Efendiyev. Questions remain over the current status of the project and why the proposed institution has apparently not yet been completed. Batko News believes these questions can be clarified through documentation concerning ownership of the land, donations received, expenditure and the legal status of the proposed institution. Separate allegations concern statements allegedly made about Ukraine and the recognition of Ukrainian state authority. Batko News has been told that audio recordings exist in which such views can allegedly be heard. These recordings have not yet been independently authenticated by Batko News. If verifiable original recordings and supporting documentation become available, their contents may be examined in a subsequent investigation. Questions have additionally been raised concerning members of the Tamim family and other individuals associated with religious institutions who are Ukrainian citizens but are reportedly outside Ukraine or hold religious positions during wartime. Such matters require careful examination of citizenship, age, health, residency, clerical status, mobilization law and any applicable exemptions before conclusions can be drawn. These questions carry particular sensitivity while Ukrainian soldiers continue to defend the country. Any allegation that an individual unlawfully avoided military obligations, however, must be supported by official documentation rather than assumption.
